New digital platform for the maritime industry

How do we make it easier to navigate in the maritime industry? That’s the ambition behind NextMariner, a new maritime platform, founded by Neha Mehta, and supported by Hoyer VMS through the Danish accelerator programme Maritime Stars. 

NextMariner is a new maritime platform designed to make it easier for professionals, students, companies, and educational institutions to find each other, share knowledge, and build connections. 
The platform brings together information and experiences and insights about shipowners, equipment suppliers, service providers, and other maritime stakeholders.

The platform is founded by Neha Mehta, a former seafarer and maritime professional who has experienced the dedication and resilience of maritime professionals herself. She built NextMariner with the vision that technology can help create a fairer, more engaging, and rewarding future for the industry.  

“The maritime industry is full of skilled and passionate people, but information, opportunities and connections are often spread across different platforms. This can make the industry difficult to navigate. With NextMariner, we want to bring these elements together in one place, making it easier to find the right opportunities, share experiences and create meaningful connections across the industry,” says Neha Mehta.

NextMariner is par tof Maritime Stars, a Danish accelerator programme which helps innovative startups move forward. It I supported by established companies across the maritime industry. Henrik Sørensen, CEO, Hoyer VMS, represents Hoyer VMS as one of the “lighthouse companies” supporting the maritime startups.
