Hoyer VMS Group has streamlined its leadership team, taking the next step towards integrating into one company and setting a new strategy following the Hoyer and VMS Group merger nine months ago.
The move means that Kim Bengtsen, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, will now step down from his role, leaving current CEO Henrik Sørensen at the helm of the integrated company.
"With integration now substantially complete, we have determined that consolidating and streamlining our executive leadership structure is a natural next step in the organisation's evolution," says Henrik Sørensen.
"I am thankful to have had Kim Bengtsen onboard these past months, working closely together to align operations, culture, and the strategic foundation for the combined business."
Bengtsen, who spent nearly 10 years with VMS Group, including serving as its CEO, played a central role in ensuring a smooth integration of the two organisations in his capacity as Deputy CEO. Kim Bengtsen now wishes to pursue new challenges outside Hoyer VMS Group.
"On behalf of the Board and the entire organisation, I want to thank Kim Bengtsen for his leadership and dedication throughout the post-merger integration process," says Søren Østergaard Sørensen, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "His departure is a natural step in our evolution toward becoming one company that reflects our 'Together we outsmart the ordinary' mindset."
The decision, which was mutually agreed between Bengtsen and Hoyer VMS leadership, means Henrik Sørensen and the remaining executive team will assume Bengtsen's daily responsibilities.
"It has been a privilege to lead Hoyer VMS through this merger and to help build the foundation for the combined organisation's future," says Kim Bengtsen. "With integration complete and the two teams now focused on operating as one, this feels like the right moment for me to step back. I'm proud of what we accomplished together, thankful for the 10 years I've had in VMS Group, and I wish the company and all employees continued success."
