Hoyer VMS provides service, repair, overhaul and troubleshooting for 4-stroke marine diesel engines. With workshop and on-site capabilities, we help keep engines running safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.

We Serve

Cylinder Covers

We overhaul cylinder covers, including dismantling, cleaning and pressure testing. All parts are measured and reconditioned, including grinding of valves and seats. Machining to oversize valve seats and grinding of sealing surfaces is also possible.

Connecting Rods

Overhaul of connecting rods usually includes cleaning, crack testing and tightening the connecting rods together for measuring of the big ends. If worn, we can recondition the small end bush and machine the big end in case of ovality.

Pistons

We offer complete overhaul of pistons, including cleaning, measuring of ring grooves, inspection for spots and crack testing.

Cylinder Liners

Complete overhaul of cylinder liners includes cleaning, honing, grinding or machining of sealing surfaces and complete measurement reports. This can be done on liners with diameters from 170 to 650 mm.

Fuel Equipment

We offer overhaul of most types of fuel injection pumps and injector valves. Calibration pressure up to 1,500 bar is available.

Pumps and Coolers

We offer overhaul and maintenance of auxiliary equipment for marine engines.
